Panpu SRM Series Switched Reluctance Motor Speed Control System

The Panpu SRM Series Switched Reluctance Motor Drive (SRD) consists of a switched reluctance motor and an intelligent controller. The rotor features no windings or permanent magnets. Rated power ranges from 0.55 to 315kW, with rated speeds of 750/1000/1500/3000 r/min and a speed regulation range from 50r/min up to the rated speed. Starting torque reaches 150%–300% of rated torque, while starting current is only 30% of rated current. Power factor exceeds 0.98 under both no-load and full-load conditions. Overall efficiency is more than 3% higher than AC induction motor VFD systems, and can be over 10% higher at low speeds. Energy savings typically range from 10% to 50%.
